Choir Cantata Highlights Message of Service

Food Baskets Prepared for the less fortunate

The Chancel Choir and children entered the Sanctuary waving palm branches and later performed a cantata for the service. Pastor Joel's solo was especially moving.

For the second year Jane Sherwood has organized  food baskets for the less fortunate. Food items were brought to the Church over the past several weeks. The items were placed in boxes after the Palm Sunday Service and delivered that afternoon. Among the helpers Sunday were Jerry Kennedy and Dave Rozanski. Jerry is shown here with Jane. Canned goods, boxed foods and a ham were included in the food basket.

Fellowship Hall Acoustical Treatment A Success

 Capital Improvement Committee
Sponsors Fundraisers.

Phil Gallagher Construction has finished applying the ceiling tile to the Fellowship Hall. The consensus from everyone that has been to coffee hours and functions there is that "It was worth every penny!"

The project was sponsored by the Capital Improvement Committee and funded through its recent Capital Campaign and Fundraisers.

The first of the three CIC fundraisers was deemed a success by those who participated. Unfortunately for the Cards Fans, their team did not win the game, but a good time and a lot of good fellowship was had by all.

The second fundraiser is a Country Excursion into the Amish countryside of Indiana around Shipshewana, Goshen and South Bend scheduled for June 26, 27. &28. Contact Phil Farrell @ 217-864-5450 or Jim Beckhart @ 217-864-4535 or Joe Sidwell for information. We are still taking applications through the first couple of weeks in June.

Join us for coffee, cookies and more! After the 10:00 Service.
Reminder that the parking in front of the church on Sunday is for disabled.
